Trick your mind to wake up at 5 AM

Life is too short to live, let alone waste it by sleeping? 

This line itself is enough to make you set your alarm clock to 5:00 AM, on repeat. No denying that sleep is one of the most essential element in your daily life, it helps you revitalise your body and make you ready for the next day. But you begin your day at 9:00! or may be 8 or 7..

Fun fact: You know that how much more you can do if you wake up even an hour earlier, but your mind just wont let you open your eyes. Don’t be tricked by your mind, instead trick your mind and get some extra hours of life, everyday, for the rest of your life. Easier said than done, but here we are with some nifty grifty tips you can use to get those extra morning hours. And before we begin, just remember, no matter how good or bad your day is going to be or yesterday was, mornings are always going to be beautiful and pleasing. Lets begin.


 Your are not compromising.

Waking up at 5 AM does not mean you are compromising at all. Instead, you are stealing out some very crucial hours for yourself. In today’s fast pace life, the one thing we completely miss out is giving time to ourselves. Whether you have a to-do list or not,you remain engaged through out the day. But waking up early, gives you time to be with yourself, have a cup of tea, relax. Listen what the inner you have to say. 

Don’t rush to 5:00AM club

Irrespective at what time you wake up, and sleep. Your body is adaptive to your sleep cycles, and making sudden drastic changes can impact your health from minor to major illnesses. We don’t recommend you to join the 5:00 AM club from tomorrow. Remember, you need to trick your mind! Shift your sleeping cycles by 15–30 minutes and see your body adapting the changes. And soon you’ll be a happy member of the 5:00 AM club.

Restrict electronic gadgets

One advice we definitely want you to follow will be to keep your electronic devices away from you atleast a couple of hours before you doze off. The reason being, these devices you use not only harm your physical well being but also play with your mental health. Research shows that blue light emitted by the mobile phones and laptops have direct impact on your eye sight and apart from effecting the sleep cycles.And if you are someone who have problem of falling sleep unless they scroll the social media feeds, we’d suggest start with reading books. It takes you to another universe. Its tried and tested.

Nonetheless, we understand there are times when you are bound to keep up with the work, late. It’s okay! But you can always try to limit the usage otherwise. 

Put all your worries on-hold

We all have problems in our lives and we need a solution for them too. Not sleeping, is not the solution for sure. Every human on this planet have his own problems or worries which can keep him up, all the night. Unfortunately, problem remains there as it is, weather you sleep or not. We wish we could recommend you to solve your problems or tackle your worries tonight and have a good sleep tomorrow. But we know, and so do you, that resolving those worries or problems will take up more than a single night. A quick fix to this, just keep all your problems and worries on-hold, uptil tomorrow morning. Just say NO to your brain as soon as it tries to discuss the problems with you. It’s not easy, but you can trick it. 

Have a new dinner plan

One thing to take up from nature is, it works at its own pace, so does your body matabolism. We recommend you to have your dinner at least 2–3 hours before you want to sleep and try to keep it light. By doing so your body will get the sufficient amount of time to to digest your food. And help you wake up light and relaxed the next day. 

Don’t just open your eyes. Wake Up!

Snoozing the alarm but lying on bed is not what you intend to do. Wake your body up. Get out of the bed. Take a shower, prepare your tea and get energised for today. Make a to-do list. Plan out your day. And a pro tip: Make your bed right at the moment you get out of it. It’s a good habbit. And for whatsoever reason, it will give you a sense of achievement right at the start of your day. 

And since you have reached this far in the blog, we have a secret tip for you: Irrespective of what the world feels, do not fall prey of the “ afternoon naps”, this will definitely affect your sleeping time at night and you don’t want that.Right?
